Considerations for Changing the Calendar ~ 26 Dec 2017

Here it is - the end of 2017, the cusp of 2018 - at least according to the Gregorian system. What a year, right?

With Saturn in Sagittarius, astronomers observed the first ever interstellar asteroid, which established an entire new category of objects! Oumuamua is its name... a name that basically implies “messenger from afar arriving first.” This body soared in from the general direction of Vega in the constellation Lyra - which was featured in the movie Contact. It came closest to our Sun on September 9th (even before discovery) and passed Mars on November 1st, riding toward Pegasus likely never to return. After initial speculation that perhaps Oumuamua might have been an alien scout, astronomers bounced radar off the body to confirm its more expected icy asteroid composition. Still, a nice moment of awe and wonder traveled with this object.

With Saturn to the Galactic Center we found out the Pentagon spent a heap of money on UFO investigation that we knew nothing about - this news aligning with Oumuamua’s arrival. That was intriguingly “coincidental.”

To wrap up the year, we urged Saturn into a new sign nearly simultaneous with the solstice, his home turf, Capricorn, a placement noted for fiscal wisdom and responsibility, which the U.S. legislators turned into a controversial tax cut. Much of the language of the bill appears to have been written by aliens.

As we look ahead to 2018, there is reason for optimism on the personal front. There is reason to look forward with eagerness to embrace consciousness shifts recently seeded by Saturn to the Galactic Center, and recently triggered by the Sun and Venus to our galactic core. If life has been too busy to download insights, trust that they downloaded per some sort of background ability. Mercury intends to issue triggers and thought nuggets as it reaches the Galactic Center a day or two after the powerful Mars to Jupiter boost on January 6th (more on that next week).

Haumea and Uranus soon align again in Aries. The prompting will be for each person to make space in their life for the installation of creative brilliance. When the soulful urging within bubbles forth and breaches the levees of restrictive thinking, anyone at all, might at any random moment, tune into a brilliant realization - which could be the next great thing, or could offer solutions for progress on our planet.

Eris and Uranus tangled this past year, working to sort out what defines a real revolution of change versus what is cranky “get off the grass” behavior. The sense of being shut out or considered an outcast desperately sought to be replaced by a solid explanation of how ones weirdness might be not only lovable eccentricity, but real world inspiration and innovation for healing and progress.

Ceres and Jupiter prepare to launch the year in a square (more on this next week, too), continuing a pattern initiated while in Cancer and Libra at the early part of September. Suffice it to say, if you want to achieve your big passion project objectives, you need to stand tall and be recognized, not as a squeaky wheel, but as one holding an idea that fosters the best for all.

Take the next days to recap where you have been, how far you have come. As the calendar turns, prepare to align intentions with rich transits that seek to launch 2018 with certainty and confidence.

Happy New Year. May 2018 be rich in progress and growth and may it be the best year yet.
